UCharity - Prison building
Prison Ministry:
UCharity's work also extends to prisons, we work closely with ex-offenders at our day centre trying to integrate them back into society and giving them a second chance at helping to break the cycle.
We also work within various prisons providing inmates with workshops to help rebuild their skills and confidence. Along side this we work with staff to bring about a change which enables inmates to turn their lives around, such as mentoring/Events.
We have also started working with inmates when they are nearing release we work closely with them while on parole helping them to prepare for the outside world by offering opportunities for them outside the prison walls.
